IT Systems Administrator

The System Administrator’s primary focus will be managing and optimizing the Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environment for Centri Business Consulting, LLC (“the Firm”).

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration, development, and support of various Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange, OneDrive, Teams Phone, and SharePoint.
  • Responsible for managing the organization’s VPN/SDP and FWaaS solutions to ensure secure remote access to company resources and the appropriate access is in place for remote users.
  • Administer FWaaS solutions to protect company resources from external threats. In addition responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security of the company intranets and computer systems. Implement and maintain identity protection and management solutions to safeguard user accounts and data.
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 and Azure roadmap releases, ensuring that proper testing and deployment procedures are followed.
  • Implement & manage user and network security including the set up and maintenance of user access for all team members. Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
  • Evaluates existing software applications & performs routine updates/modifications. Research and recommend new hardware and software.
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 and Azure, variety of Windows operating systems and SaaS applications. applications to end-users Install, upgrade, and maintain software & hardware.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client and employee information.
  • Support Firm initiatives and development opportunities.
  • Work to build relationships and promote collaboration in a hybrid environment.

 Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure administration, including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks.
  • Experience with VPN/SDP technologies and remote access solutions.
  • Knowledge of identity protection and management solutions.
  • Experience with network infrastructure design and maintenance.
  • Experience with FWaaS solutions.

 Education and Experience 

  • A minimum of 3 years of administrative experience or significant clerical duties.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies and Microsoft Azure Architect Design certifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift items up to 30 pounds at times.
  • Travel will be 5% of the time when necessary.
