Centri Partners with City Year for 2nd Annual Community Collaboration Day

Philadelphia, PA – October 7, 2024 – Centri Business Consulting, LLC, one of the industry’s fastest-growing and most respected accounting and advisory firms, recently partnered with City Year, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting systemically under-resourced students and schools, for its 2^nd annual company-wide Community Collaboration Day. Centri team members donated $15,000 of essential goods to provide 1,450 students with the resources they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Nearly 150 Centri team members across its offices in Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, Tysons Corner, Atlanta, Denver, Raleigh, and Tampa participated in this year’s Community Collaboration Day. Made possible by Centri team members’ $15,000 donation of essential goods to City Year, Centri’s NYC team assembled hygiene kits comprised of essential items for students, while team members at the firm’s other offices created school supply kits for the start of a successful school year.

Founded in 1988, City Year is a national organization serving students and schools affected by systemic inequities. Through its partnership with AmeriCorps and the Corporation for National and Community Service, City Year provides students in 29 cities and 21 states across the country with social, emotional, and academic support to help them succeed in the classroom and in life. Centri’s partnership with City Year is rooted in both organizations’ alignment of core values that define Centri: collaboration, initiative, and a commitment to making the communities where we live and work a better place.

Beyond Community Collaboration Day, Centri is actively committed to improving the communities where its team members live and work. The firm is closely involved with Volunteers of America and its Adopt a Family program, which collects and donates holiday gifts in support of families in need. This year will mark the 7^th consecutive year the firm has participated in the program.
