Ed is a Senior Director of Quality Control at Centri Business Consulting. He has more than 35 years of experience in technical and financial auditing in both the public and private sectors. He joined Centri in September 2023 and performs quality control reviews of technical accounting deliverables addressing a broad range of areas, as well as financial reporting deliverables to be included in our client’s various SEC filings. Ed works closely with the firm’s Chief Quality Officer on various risk management and related matters included within the firm’s system of quality control.

Prior to his time with Centri, Ed led the commercial audit practice at KPMG for New England and upstate New York from 2000 to 2020. In this capacity, he oversaw more than 100 professionals and had responsibilities extending across HR, business development, and securing new clients. Ed was selected as the lead partner for KPMG’s early-stage technology practice in the northeast, serving high-growth pre-IPO companies. Ed guided multiple businesses through years of growth as a lead audit partner, including an information technology company that completed its IPO, made multiple significant acquisitions, and is now on its way to becoming a $1B organization. Furthermore, Ed opened and was the Managing Partner of KPMG’s Cambridge Innovation Center, which provides subject matter expertise for early-stage, high-growth tech, and life science clients.

Ed received a BSBA from Bryant University in 1984. He is a former board member of KPMG’s Family for Literacy fund. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
