Erik is a Managing Director at Centri Business Consulting. He has more than 16 years of public accounting and consulting experience. He joined Centri in September 2023 and focuses on providing technical accounting research services across a variety of accounting topics. He also provides support for accounting and audit readiness, SEC reporting, and IPO readiness. Erik specializes in supporting clients by documenting the accounting treatment of various transactions, including complex debt and equity analysis, acquisition accounting, stock compensation arrangements, and accounting standards implementations. He also performs IPO and M&A readiness services and supports clients with their financial reporting requirements, preparing periodic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”), including S-1, S-4, 8-K, Proxy, 10-Q, 10-K, and Form 10 filings.

Prior to his time with Centri, Erik was a Director in the Technical Accounting Consulting Practice at RSM US LLP, focused on providing a range of technical accounting advisory services to clients, including all aspects of debt and equity financing transactions, stock compensation arrangements, business combination transactions, foreign currency and consolidation matters, and revenue recognition considerations. Prior to working in the consulting practice, he provided financial statement audit services to clients varying in maturity from early-stage companies through SEC filers, with a focus on life sciences and private equity-backed portfolio companies.

Erik received a BSBA with a concentration in accounting from Boston University in 2007. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, he serves as the Treasurer of Charlestowndogs, Inc., a local non-profit working on behalf of dogs and dog owners in the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston.
