Katie is a Managing Director at Centri Business Consulting. She has more than 10 years of experience specializing in advising clients on the accounting treatment of various transactions including complex debt and equity transactions, business combinations and acquisition accounting, and lease accounting. She joined Centri in February 2018 and has assisted clients across several industries, including digital assets, financial services, healthcare, private equity, cannabis, and telecommunications. She specializes in advising clients on the accounting treatment of various transactions including complex debt and equity transactions, business combinations and acquisition accounting, and lease accounting. Katie has also participated in IPO and M&A transactions in which she assists in the preparation of pre-audit support, technical accounting research and position papers, and financial statements.

Prior to her time with Centri, Katie was an Audit Supervisor at Tait Weller, where she worked on several engagements for clients in a variety of industries, including international relief, refugee assistance, higher education, foundations, and mental health assistance. She specialized in non-profit audits and had experience with mutual funds, partnerships, and employee benefit plans. Prior to working at Tait Weller, Katie was a Staff Accountant at Henkels & McCoy. There, Katie reconciled bank accounts, prepared weekly and month-end journal entries, and assisted in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements.

Katie received a B.S. in Accounting from West Virginia University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania and a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
