Thomas is a Managing Director and Tampa Bay Market Leader at Centri Business Consulting. He has more than 16 years of experience in planning and executing financial statements, internal control, and compliance audits, in addition to providing technical accounting, financial reporting, and CFO advisory services. He joined Centri in May 2022, where he provides advisory services to public companies and venture capital and private equity portfolio companies in the technology, life sciences, and business and professional services industries.

Thomas specializes in the accounting and reporting for complex revenue recognition transactions under ASC 606 and application of ASC 805, Business Combinations. Thomas provides value-added services to clients he supports including contract structuring for favorable revenue recognition, debt verse equity treatment, purchase accounting, and EBITDA.

Prior to his time with Centri, Thomas was a Senior Manager at RSM US LLP. There, he functioned as the Florida Technology, Media, and Telecom industry lead and was engagement leader on financial statement audits, reviews, and technical accounting.

Thomas received his B.S. in Accounting from Salisbury University and his M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University of Maryland. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and Maryland.
