Centri Announces Kristen Wik as Chief People Officer

Philadelphia, PA – February 10th, 2020– Centri Business Consulting, LLC is proud to announce Kristen Wik as its Chief People Officer (“CPO”) for the Firm effective January 1, 2020. This role is in addition to Kristen’s current role of Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). In this newly created role for Centri, Kristen is responsible for overseeing the strategy and processes related to building and retaining an exceptional team of professionals.  The role is centered upon driving growth and facilitating change for the company through a focus on its people.  The CPO position will compliment her CFO responsibilities which include overseeing the on-boarding program for new team members, talent retention including Centri’s Mentor Program and benefits management, and various other team engagement projects. She also started the first Centri Leadership program in 2019 and is responsible for outsourcing and developing the curriculum for successful leadership at Centri.

Kristen started at Centri in March 2015 as Controller, later taking on the role of Director of Human Resources.  In 2018, Kristen was promoted to Chief Financial Officer, responsible for managing all of Centri’s finance and administrative functions to ensure reliable and accurate financial data is provided on a timely basis.

Prior to her time with Centri, Kristen was a Senior Manager with Baker Tilley Virchow Krause, LLP (formally, ParenteBeard LLC) for over 7 years. Kristen was a member of their Healthcare Business Services group. She oversaw multiple healthcare and not-for-profit audit engagements where she managed multiple team members, prepared and assisted in the preparation of financial statements, reviewed and prepared workpapers used to support audit opinions. She also prepared and instructed multiple internal training sessions.

While at ParenteBeard, LLC, she participated in the Leadership, Entrepreneurialism and Achievement at ParenteBeard (“LEAP”) program. It is a three-year program led by Penn State instructors in which selected participants acquire the skill set necessary to become an effective leader in today’s competitive, global work environment. She was awarded the Rising Star Award, voted on by her peers at the end of the program.

Kristen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from West Chester University in 2002 and is a Certified Public Accountant.
