Centri Welcomes Martin Savage as Director

Philadelphia, PA – September 9, 2020    Centri Business Consulting, LLC is excited to announce the addition of a new Director, Martin Savage, to the firm.  Martin has over 18 years of public and corporate accounting experience.  He has worked with a wide range of industries including technology, life sciences, health care, retail, manufacturing and distribution.  Martin also has significant experience with corporate accounting matters and building out corporate accounting teams and functions.

“Martin brings a well-rounded financial background at both public and private companies to his role at Centri,” said Michael Aiello, Centri’s Managing Partner. “He brings experience in strengthening accounting organizations, implementing emerging accounting standards as well as an expertise in mergers and acquisitions.  This strong background makes him ideally suited for his new role and to be a key member of Centri’s management team as we continue to maximize results for our clients and continue to grow our organization throughout the country.”

Most recently, Martin was a Director of Technical Accounting at AmerisourceBergen. In this role, his responsibilities included authoring significant accounting position papers, managing financial due diligence procedures for both domestic and international acquisitions, IFRS to US GAAP conversions, and business combination accounting for all acquisitions.  Additionally, Martin served as a project team member for the implementation of the new revenue recognition and lease accounting standards (ASC 606 “Revenue from Contracts with Clients” and ASC 842 “Lease Accounting”).

Prior to his time with AmerisourceBergen, he was an Assurance Senior Manager with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) Philadelphia, where he managed several large public multi-national engagements across various industries including technology, manufacturing, utilities, and industrial products.  In addition, Martin worked in PwC’s advisory department, developing testing, and implementing internal controls for both US and European public entities.  Prior to his time with PwC, Martin was an Audit Senior at Deloitte Dublin Ireland.

Martin received his MBA from Oxford Brookes University (UK). He is a Chartered Certified Accountant in Ireland and the United Kingdom (F.C.C.A) and a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
