Centri’s Kevin McLaughlin Promoted to Partner

Philadelphia, PA – November 7th, 2023 – Centri Business Consulting, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Kevin McLaughlin to Partner, effective October 1, 2023. Kevin joined Centri in September 2014 and currently leads the firm’s Cannabis Practice. He has over 10 years of experience and has supported clients in several industries, including life sciences, technology, software, and mining. Most notably, Kevin was instrumental in establishing the firm’s cannabis practice over 7 years ago.  He specializes in supporting clients by documenting the accounting treatment of various transactions, including complex debt and equity analysis, acquisition accounting process integration, and due diligence. He also performs IPO and M&A readiness services and supports clients with their financial reporting requirements, preparing periodic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Prior to his time with Centri, Kevin was a Senior at Friedman LLP, where he worked on several private and public engagements for clients in a variety of industries, including life sciences, technology, real estate, entertainment, and financial services. His experience included a focus on emerging growth and publicly traded companies, where he helped guide various clients through the financial reporting process of going public via a reverse merger. Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University, Pennsylvania.   He is on the leadership committee of Project Magis, along with the Capital Markets Council of the American Trade Association for Cannabis and Hemp (“ATACH”). Kevin is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
